Yuva Group was born in the year 1999 as a spontaneous response to the selfless sacrifices by our Jawans on the kargil border. The members mentioned below decided to show their appreciation and their mark of respect to our soldiers by way of organizing a Blood Donation Camp at student boarding- Rajkot. Since that day the Yuva Group has been actively involved in organizing activities which are beneficial to the Samaj.

Yuva Group played a major role in making of the Gujarati directory covering information regarding the families of Parajiya Pattni Soni Samaj of Gujarat Saurashtra.

For the first time in the History of the Parajiya Soni Samaj a task of such magnitude was undertaken by the Yuva Group. It took 18 long months of days and night of selfless application, dedication and sacrifice in terms of the time taken away from work and their respective families.

When "Parajiya Ni Pagdandi" was officially launched on March 2000 at Gaisford Cinema-Rajkot. The entire Samaj had got together on this grand occasion and more than 2000 members were present. A grand dinner was organized which was appreciated by everyone attending the function. It was the first time in twenty years that the entire Samaj had got together.

On That tragic day the members of the Yuva Group were the first to reach Bhuj and render humanitarian assistance to the affected families in whatever whichever way that was possible. It is believed that more that 5000 people lost their lives on that tragic day. Our Samaj also lost six lives with more than 2000 houses and business establishments were either partially affected or completely destroyed.

The Yuva Group organised a impromptu fund raising campaign in which more than Rupees Forty Lakhs was mobilized in cash. A large numbers of donations also come in form of material assistance. The credit for mobilization of this amount goes to the U.A.E. Soni Samaj. Two members namely Shree P.H.Dhakan & Shree Rajnibhai Soni had specially come to Rajkot. They personally went to each and every affected family along with the Yuva member in Saurashtra & Kutch - Bhuj and distributed the Cheques & Drafts respectively.

Since the year Yuva Group came in to existence they have been organizing Navratri for the Rajkot samaj at the Mohanbhai Hall. Lot of ceremonies and programs are conducted on that occasion.

The concept of creating a website especially for the benefit of our brethren abroad. So that they can come closer to our motherland, our values and culture. This website is also designed to benefit our people in terms of job opportunities both in India as well as abroad.

They are also planning to organize a platform on this site which will benefit our Samaj in terms of business opportunities too.
